Dr. Gordon is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central Florida District Dental Association and Academy of General Dentistry. She serves as Director At-Large for the Florida Academy of General Dentistry. She also attends various continuing education courses throughout the year. She is certified in Invisalign, Nitrous Oxide, and Basic Life Support.
Life & Hobbies
Dr. Gordon was born and raised in Jamaica; throughout her childhood, she loved attending her prestigious high school, Wolmer's Girls' School, as it instilled a love of lifetime learning, work ethic and excellence. Dr. Gordon came to Florida after high school to pursue her dental education. After her undergraduate studies, she taught middle school science and served as Chair of the Science Department. Throughout the years, she has always maintained a love for sports, participating in competitive swimming, synchronized swimming, rugby, and running.
When she isn't practicing dentistry, Dr. Gordon enjoys listening to music, cooking, practicing Olympic weightlifting and working out at CrossFit. While in dental school, Dr. Gordon also served as a Dental Ambassador, Admissions Outreach Ambassador and organizer of the school's mission trip to Jamaica. She has helped the medically-compromised and underserved patients with dental needs in community outreach centers and mission trips in Gainesville (FL), Charleston (SC) and Jamaica. She currently guides UF dental students as they treat underserved patients at the FreeD.OM Clinic in Ocala, FL.
